Depression Hypnotherapy

Some people suffering with depression report they have no energy and can't concentrate, others feel irritable for no apparent reason and feel uncared for by others and/or have difficulty sleeping.  The symptoms of depression vary from person to person.  It is reported that as many as one in six people will suffer with some form of depression at some point during their lives.

Depression can act as a ‘trigger’ for change, it can tell us something is wrong with our current life that needs to be resolved, for example continual exposure to stress, relationship difficulties or lack of self esteem.  Other times it could be due to excessive use of alcohol, recreational or certain prescription drugs.  Other times there is no clear reason.

We would recommend before coming to see us, that you consult with your GP to ensure there are no underlying chemical imbalances where medication maybe recommended.  Even on medication, Depression Hypnotherapy and Depression NLP can still be useful to address the Psychological thought patterns and processes  which can exacerbate the depressive state.

Depression Hypnotherapy and NLP can help you to feel energised again, with hope for the future. We will work on healing any past events which may have caused the depression so that you can move forward, securely and freely. Our Depression Hypnotherapy and NLP can also help to create positive change in thought patterns so you begin to look at life and yourself more positively than the previous, negative self talk that you may have experienced. Bit by bit life can begin to grow again so that you could feel you are 'engaging' in life once again, feeling respectful of yourself and confident in who you are.
